Paralegal Becomes Ombudsman for Santa Clara County DA

The Santa Clara County District Attorney's office has added a new way for the public to get answers to legal questions or raise concerns about a county prosecutor - an ombudsman.
Paralegal Lisa McCrary will take on the role, District Attorney Dolores Carr said Wednesday.
McCrary will direct complaints to supervisors in the office and help members of the public contact the appropriate person in other agencies and departments.
McCrary has worked at the District Attorney's office for 24 years. She was the first paralegal hired in the office and currently helps maintain the DA's Web site, among other duties.
